🎬 Empowering Tomorrow’s Creatives: Omegavision Launches Internship Programme for Emerging Talent

ree

At Omegavision Productions, we believe that the next generation of storytellers deserves more than just inspiration — they deserve real opportunities. That’s why we’re proud to announce our Omegavision Internship Programme, an initiative developed by our founders to nurture and equip new and young talent eager to step into the world of theatre, screen, and audio production.

🌱 A Pathway Into the Creative Industry

Breaking into the creative arts isn’t easy, especially for those from underrepresented or working-class backgrounds. Many young creatives possess raw skill and passion, but lack the professional access or mentorship to turn that spark into a career.

The Omegavision Internship Programme bridges that gap.Through hands-on learning, mentoring, and project-based experience, interns will work directly with Omegavision’s production teams on live theatre, audio dramas, and community-driven screen projects — including our flagship works like Sisters of Sleep.

Participants will gain practical experience in:

  • 🎭 Stage and audio production (including generative AI)

  • 🧠 Creative writing and script development

  • 🎥 Cinematography and sound design

  • 💻 Digital marketing and social media storytelling

  • 🤝 Project management and teamwork

💡 Developed by Creatives, for Creatives

Omegavision was founded on collaboration, diversity, and storytelling that reflects real life. Each founder brings a wealth of experience across performance, production, and community engagement — but more importantly, a shared commitment to opening doors that have historically been closed to many.

“We want to create a space where emerging talent can grow, learn, and be seen — not just as assistants or volunteers, but as future leaders of creative projects,” says co-founder Franco Simpson.

This programme isn’t just about training — it’s about empowerment.Interns will be encouraged to bring their own voices, ideas, and perspectives to the table, contributing to real productions that challenge convention and celebrate authenticity.

🌍 Building Bridges Into the Industry

The initiative aligns with Omegavision’s broader mission: to bring honest, diverse narratives to stage and screen while building creative pathways for local communities.

Through partnerships with educational institutions, community organisations, and production partners, the internship programme aims to help participants transition into paid opportunities within Omegavision or the wider industry.

Each internship term will end with a Showcase & Industry Mixer, giving participants a platform to share their work and connect with producers, actors, and creative leaders.
